I am so glad you are here!

My name is Rachael, and I am the human behind the camera here at Wild Kin Photography.

I am a homeschooling mama to three quirky kids, a wife to a hard-working FIFO man, a lover of nature and a seeker of magic in the ordinary.

My favourite colours are green, purple, blue and every shade from black to grey.

I never tire of a sunset, and I always marvel at the magic of a rainbow after a storm.

I have a wandering heart and soul; always seeking out the beauty in this world.

I love the smell of rain and feel most at home in the mountains.

Photography, for me, is an essential form of creativity. I love to seek the light and capture the wild essence of life. It keeps me grounded and fuels my life in a way I never thought possible.

I have always held an affinity for photography & believe that photography has the power to portray the true connection between life and love.

Quite simply, photography fills my cup... Many times over!

Photography has the unique ability to freeze a moment in time and capture the essence of that moment.

Just think about how you feel when you look at photographs of your loved ones; it makes you really feel something!

When you look at that image, you can be instantly transported back to that moment in time. You can remember their voice, the way they laughed, and the way you felt when they looked at you.

It is a powerful tool to capture emotion, rawness, and connection and freeze all those tiny little details that are easily forgotten.

Photography connects you to your past, allows you to stay present and gives the gift of immortalising those precious memories.

I consider my style of photography to be ever-evolving, and it meets you where you are at in life at this very moment.

It is heart-centred, connected, emotive and soul~felt.

It captures your soul story in a way that is uniquely you and shows you how your love RADIATES.
